Complete solution for fermentation

Hamilton presents new ArcAir App at ACHEMA

The Hamilton Bonaduz AG presents a novelty at this year’s ACHEMA from the 11th-15th June in Frankfurt am Main. In hall 11.1, booth F43, the trade visitors receive information on the new Single-Use complete solutions for cell culture and fermentation. Single-Use sensors for optical dissolved oxygen measurements will also be available, next to the already established Single-Use sensor OneFerm pH. Once in process, OneFerm pH shows the accuracy and the minimal drift of a glass pH sensor although it was previously stored dry in the bioreactor. Many tests performed by well-known Single-Use bags suppliers confirmed the statement. Hamilton’s Single-Use sensors can easily be integrated in existing set-ups as they are available in an analog as well as Arc versions.

Online cell density measurements allow for fast responses to process deviations in real-time, increases insights in processes and optimizes yield and efficiency. In order to get even more insights and to allow better predictability a new multivariate data analysis (MVDA) will be introduced.

New ArcAir App allows easy handling

The new ArcAir software version, which raises the monitoring and controlling of Arc sensors by means of mobile devices to a new level, also contributes to time savings. Customers are guided step by step through the different processes, such as calibration, verification and configuration. In this way, each procedure can be executed fast and easy if the operator has been assigned to do so by the customer’s supervisor. Another new feature is that barcodes of pH buffers and conductivity standards can now be scanned and documented. “We are glad to introduce new sensor features and we are looking forward to present the new ArcAir App version to booth visitors”, explains Dr. Knut Georgy, Senior Market Segment Manager Process Analytics at Hamilton.
